Round 4 of the British GT Championship

Round 4 of the British GT Championship is now upon us as we head to the home of British motorsport to take on the Silverstone 3 hours, with the championship title all to play for as we sit just one point behind series leaders Marco Attard and Alexander Sims in the BMW Z4.

Just last week we completed a successful test at Silverstone and the Aston very much suits the fast-flowing nature of the GP circuit with its high speed corner stability.

Liam and I worked closely with race engineer Richard to find a balance in the car and our pace and consistency over the longer runs was really strong; however, we have an underlying mid-corner understeer issue which still needs some fine tuning.

The Silverstone 3 hours is the longest race in the British GT schedule and the importance of this race is reflected in the bonus points available – whoever wins Sunday's race will walk away with points and a half to add to their championship tally.

Team work will play a big part in this event with 3 mandatory pit stops for the pit crew to take on, meaning the guys will need to be as slick as ever - their job is as crucial as that of the drivers.

To add to the challenge we have the pleasure of a 10 second “Success Pit Stop Penalty” after scoring third place at Rockingham!

You can catch all of the action from Sunday's race live on Motors TV with live timing from www.tsl-timing.com, but in the meantime check out how we got on the podium at Rockingham by checking on the link below::
